Beckham keeping options open

by Thomas

David Beckham is not ruling out a move back to the Premier League when he finishes his six-year spell with La Galaxy on Saturday following their clash with Houston Dynamo.

Beckham will compete in the MLS season finale and look to win his second consecutive title with the Galaxy, but then is leaving for one last big challenge in his career.

Although it is unlikely the former England captain will head back to the Premier League, he is not ruling anything out and with a number of clubs showing an interest in him and certainly has plenty of options available.

However the 37-year-old did say it would be tough to return to the English top flight after playing for Manchester United.

He said: “I always said I’d struggle to come back and play in England because I’ve played for the biggest club in the world and biggest club in England – Manchester United.

” So I couldn’t see myself playing for any other Premier League club, but you never know. I’ve got options on the table”

Where he might end up playing is a big talking point in football right now and there looks to be options from America, Australia, Europe and Asia – so he does have a chance to go all over the world.

Beckham also stated that his career has never been about the money and that will not chance for this final spell of his playing days.

Although teams such as Paris Saint Germain might offer him a mega-deal, he looks like going to a club for footballing reasons and what he sees as the best challenge and that is why the Englishman is not ruling out the Premier League.

If he did head to the EPL, then it is Queens Park Rangers that look the most likely to secure his services at 4/1. Harry Redknapp had nothing but praise for Beckham recently and he could offer him a move to West London.

West Ham United are the other team from England showing an interest and they are an outsider at 16/1. At the moment, it is PSG who are the favourites to sign him though at 11/4.
He is likely to make his decision during December, but for now it is LA Galaxy that he has on his mind.
