Last season (2011) we started posting picks during the NFL Playoffs, but this season we’re going to provide our analysis weekly, so make sure you bookmark this section of our site if you bet on the NFL. We’ve already posted a quick NFL week 1 analysis and once the preseason is over we’ll be able to provide bettors with more in-depth information on week 1 games.

If you’ve been following us this summer you’ll notice we’ve been building up our NFL futures betting predictions. You still have time to bet on most of the futures we’ve written about this summer and there is still plenty of value. We already have previews posted for 2012-13 NFL Superbowl Futures, 2012-13 Conference Futures and much more to keep you busy until the season starts.

We try to keep our betting previews as easy to digest as possible, so beginners will easily understand our thought process on why we’re picking the teams we do each week. We’re also working on an NFL betting strategy section that will be filled with strategy for bettors including information on how NFL markets move, types of NFL betting markets and much more.

Where to Bet on the NFL

The most important subject to talk about in our NFL betting introduction is where to bet on the NFL online. There are literally a ton of online sportsbooks that accept NFL wagers, but many of them aren’t that trusted in this industry. NFL bettors also need to ensure they’re betting into the best possible odds to increase the chances of making money over the long-term.

The #1 online bookie for the NFL is 5Dimes due to the great odds and huge betting selection. 5Dimes offers reduced juice on the overnight NFL lines (Point Spreads & Totals) plus they have the biggest selection of exotics like teasers/pleasers. 5Dimes offers 5-point to 20-point teasers and they have the best teaser payouts in the industry.

Every week during the NFL season there will be a large number of prop bets available to wager on at 5Dimes as well. US bettors can still bet with 5Dimes as well, which is a huge plus since most NFL bettors live in the United States. 5Dimes may not have the best design in the industry, but you need to look past that and consider their reputation plus unbeatable odds for the most part.

If you live outside of the USA Pinnacle ranks high for the NFL because they have extremely low margins. They won’t have the best odds all of the time in the NFL and the selection of bets at Pinny is smaller, but for straight bets it’s hard to beat Pinnacle. If you wager on the moneyline, point spread or over/under in the NFL make sure you compare Pinnacle’s odds with 5Dimes.

Our betting content is all listed in the right sidebar including our weekly picks, futures bets and strategy articles. Our important articles are also listed in the blue navigation bar at the top of this page. With the 2012 NFL regular season around the corner the content in this section will start to ramp up and will be full of NFL betting analysis shortly.
